Senior Manager- Finance & Compliance

The role

The Senior Manager- Finance & Compliance will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing effective accounting processes, finance controlling, internal controls, and compliance to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for Fintech Company.

• This role requires an in-depth understanding of the Indian Accounting system and business, strong analytical skills, and close collaboration with Management and Business Leaders.
• Key responsibilities include managing the monthly financial close, preparing MIS and internal management reports, developing accounting policies and SOPs, ensuring compliance with internal controls, collaborating with external auditors, managing cash flow and working capital, and overseeing accounts payable processes including TDS and GST payments.

Requirements

• Candidates must be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Essential skills include strong accounting knowledge with up-to-date understanding of Accounting standards and Corporate laws, basic knowledge of GST, Income Tax Act, and RBI/NHB compliances.
• The role requires advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, excellent interpersonal skills, and experience with various accounting platforms.
• Ideal candidates will demonstrate ownership, initiative, multi-tasking under pressure, high accuracy, precision, organization, creative thinking, self-drive, and self-motivation.
